Quality Gases, a leading provider of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Zimbabwe, has opened a new depot in Tafara, Harare. The depot, which opened on June 17, 2023, is designed to meet the growing demand for LPG in the area and to provide residents with safe and reliable access to this essential energy source.

As a testament to safety considerations, the depot is also equipped with firefighting gear and a pergola design cooling system for the trucks, ensuring that LPG is stored and transported safely.

Quality Gases is a proponent of safeguarding the environment and fostering trans-generational sustainable development and proper use of energy resources. Hence, the depot is powered by solar energy, with a SAKO Lithium battery power bank (LiFePO4) with a long-life design. The depot also features properly calibrated scales and fully automated dispensing, ensuring that customers receive accurate and efficient service.

The opening of the new depot is a significant development for the Mabvuku, Tafara
and Eastview communities. The new depot serves a wide spectrum of LPG end users. It will also help to offset unregistered gas merchants and provide residents with a safe and reliable source of LPG.
