The ZESA National Training Centre (NTC) is an integral part of ZESA Holdings’ Corporate Services, having commenced operations in 1988 and officially commissioned in 1990. With a primary mandate to enhance human capital within the ZESA Group, the NTC is dedicated to comprehensive skills development across various levels.

This mission has expanded beyond the group, providing training and hospitality services to a diverse array of sectors in Zimbabwe and beyond. By effectively bridging academic knowledge and industrial expertise, the centre employs innovative research and skills transfer to benefit both academia and industry.

Advancing Careers and Infrastructure The NTC plays a pivotal role in advancing careers within the energy sector, significantly contributing to the region’s power infrastructure development and supporting Zimbabwe’s ambitious vision for total electrification by 2030, as outlined in the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1).

The centre aspires to lead in renewable energy and climate change initiatives, aligning closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
